How we help

Hi there! Thank you for visiting. Our main thing is to provide transportation assistance to families because our mission is to remove barriers that prevent parents from visiting their NICU baby. We give out ride share gift cards (like Uber) and gas station gift cards, but we also provide plush blankets, quality self care products and travel bag essentials (Colgate toothpaste, soft bristle toothbrush, Lansinoh nipple cream, Cerave lotion, Burt's Bees chapsticks), gift certificates to food delivery services or hospital cafes, or anything that you have in mind upon request.

Qualification of recipients are determined with the assistance of the Neonatal Intensive Care social worker.

You are qualified to receive benefits based on any one of the following:
 

  • Household income is less than $60,000 per year

  • Have to travel more than 40 minutes to (rural Virginia residents are perfect!)

  • One or both parents don't have a reliable mode of transportation
